im born and breed in the big NZ.... i live in the north island and suggest you go Roturoa through to Toupo and on to Napier...then cruise down to wellington(watch out for the wind there) then take the ferry over to Picton on the top of the south island....then on to Christchurch, then Invercargal...
i hope that kind of made sence.... but it is a wonderfull place...ive been everywhere in new zealand i adore this place, im proud to say this is where i was born and call home.
