fix your rounded corners, internal rounded corners should have a smaller radius than the outer ones
loose the news area, unless you plan to update the site daily/weekly its not necessary
make the site focus on your work. you have too many respect links taking people off your site
your main menu is a little hidden, i would put the main menu where the news is and loose the news.
port|folio, res|pect with the slight colour changes doesn't fit, stick to a simpler colour scheme
i like the font that describes each project, but i would maybe make things like the date, category, client, etc. bold so you can differentiate between the sections, right now it looks like a malformed paragraph
its a good start, just needs some work to make it a great site
