good question though. my favorite logo would be nike's swoosh. it's not from a design point of view (although they did redesign it very slowly and subtle over the years) but from a brand building / marketing & communication point of view. it's one of the most strongest brands wordwide. one of the very few brands who can depict their logo without their name. you can recognize it from a distance and you know what it stands for. one of the few sport brands who is accepted thru all layers, various target audiences, without having conflicting reference groups. etc.
