dpi is only for print......
resolution is for screen
800x600 px at any dpi is the same size... because on a monitor DPI is translated into pixels.
If you view a 300 dpi pick on a computer... it doesnt matter .. its measure in pixels on a monitor.
a 300 DPI only means its really big and has lots of pixels..... on a monitor it will be like 3,000x2400
go and try it... save an 800x600 pic at 72 or 300 youll still get the same file size and crispness.
because dpi is a myth... its more how many pixels are in your pic
