  so if you're only wanting it to scroll onPress of the arrows you don't need anything so complex....

  clipHoldingThumbs._x ++;
  to go right and
  clipHoldingThumbs._x ++;
  to go left.

  Or do you mean that you want it to move proportional to the mouse??
