make sure to always get things in writing. if you say "do you want my SEO services" and they say no, then when they later say they expect you to do it free of charge, you say no and point them to the email where you offered.
additionally, after delivery and final signoff, clients are on their own and changes after the fact are new projects. strike a hard line.
