Just rememberd, the first tape I ever got from someone was Bon Jovi, Slippery When Wet.
Was in fourth grade and have no possible memory of why I asked for that for christmas. no idea at all. Thank God that some older kids across the street took it and smashed it with a foot and soon afterwards got me into the cure, the smiths, sex pistols, depeche mode, etc.
Quite an about face!
