hey 2cent,
are you a 12yr old white girl? cause that's who will be hearing this album and others like it.
i give props to rap artists for sure. i'm 31yr old and like the old school stuff myself.
but it really trips me out to see jay z on mtv rappin bout his bitches in front of these teenage white girls in the crowd. not to mention the young fellas as well.
no doubt this stuff is mainstream. rap has been mainstream for some time now.
but the media is giving this gangsta type rappers way too much power.
what happened to the tribe ya'll.. leaders of the new skool??
when i hear eminem.. it shocks me.. i give him props for his style and such.. but damn.. the content is harsh.. reality or not.
he talks about killing his wife.. and then these little girls go out and buy the albums..
amazing..
