Also wanted to add how it bothers me that the bush administration seems to be using terrorism so conveniently get whatever they want.
Terrorists use terror tactics to further their own ends, so saying "if you don't go with us, there'll be more terrorism" makes you one and the same in a way.
I can understand some of the decisions, but it makes way for some scary power-abuse scenarios.
