    Third world countries and developing nations will play a big role in all this. Ironic, in some ways, that these nations that have little to no technology will be utilizing the latest and greatest long before we will.

    For example, using a windmill to get fresh well water in isolated areas, solar to power computers (why can't I have a solar panel on my deck?? Damn, I'd pay a lot for reliable, like no storm could fry my system, power!!), on and on.
    I'd assume that it will be the same for wireless, as they won't have limitations of existing infrastructure to keep using.

    The world will be a different place soon, and I am sure many places are looking on our dependencies, wars, scandals, and deciding when the time comes to stay independent. It'd be a wise move, for sure.
