lowimpakt: well the question you refer to also says: "as a driver or passenger" so i answered positive on that one coz i do take a cab once in a while. so it's not my car.

------------------------------indeed. the footprinting thing is quite complex and this is just a basic introduction. It doesn't account for 'food miles' (the distances your food has to be transported etc) or many other things.
