my policy is don't shit where you eat, but then if you don't work together at the moment (and don't think you will), then i say it's not a big issue. it might be important to find out whether she's friends with your coworkers or not, too, though.
i just don't like it when things get out of hand. learn more about her, and if she's cool, go for it.
