What?! Hoods in Orange County?
New Jersey is to NY as Orange County is to LA as Essex is to London.
The only thing you have to worry about is treading in dogshit during your morning jog.
I was born and raised behind the orange curtain. Have lived in Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Stanton, Orange, Santa Ana, and Huntington Beach. I was couch surfing for a while... anyways I know it like the back of my hand.
It's an interesting place if living in a cultural vacuum entertains you. It's a giant middle class ghetto really, regardless of where you go. It also is the largest Republican stronghold in California. But economically it's strong, always has been. As a matter of fact, if the OC was it's own country it would be number 22 for GDP in the world.
