Allow me to take this in two parts:
"cheney is bullshit the only reason he looks ok, not better then edwards is because the expections have been lowered after bush."
The 'expectations' are not lowered due to Bush. That's a rediculous comment and holds now water... that's a terrible argument that is completely based on subjectivity...
but:
"Bush is a poor president, and cheney is is only a hair better...policy still wrong, but his delivery is better "
that's a much better way to argue your point. Discuss the facts such as policy. I almost didn't read the rest because your opening was weak. All you needed to say was 'policy still wrong but his delivery is better' and you would have been successful in your argument.
... just a 'debate' point I felt like sharing... seeing that this is a debate thread.
Lose the emotional 'outbursts' but keep the passion - and you're more likely to be taken seriously.
