    Going back to roots...

they should've taken it back to the rough mickey mouse breakbeat sound around '92...

Sold out on the popular new wave retro synth sound....

    WTF?

If you heard it first with the prodigy, chances are it had been a fairly popular underground movement at some point. Their contribution is taking that and aiming it towards a larger market. For better or worse they tend to do a good job at this, however do not take away the impression that it was something original to begin with as this album is more of the same. Not saying good or bad, that's just how it is. They cannot 'sell out' as they have been a clearing house for the underground sound du jour since their inception. (tongue in cheek)

Taking it back to 92 would be as fresh as bread purchased in the same year.

On a sidenote the album was recorded above our studio, many a times did I have to let a very short Liam into the warehouse units here. He also traded his BMW SUV with "Bossman" license plate for the new Porsche version of "I've made it" SUV's.
