    but i know a lot of kids who dedicate their lives to the internet without ever deciding that's what they wanted to do with their youth.

    this message was not for you, leah. this was for those kids sitting on the fence.

    and i do think it's worth while--if that's your deliberate choice. nothing's worth while if it isn't your deliberate choice. and i think a lot of people use computers because it lets them avoid a lot of choices about living.
