I dont hate either, 2A doesn't inspire me at all, I have never understood why people rate it so much, I just dont find it interesting at all, its too boring to hate.
Josh Davis is a nice guy, he would always be happy to help you out and as far as I know he doesn't think he is a rockstar of flash - why should I hate him?
