esp_, Not too sure - I guess it depends somewhat where you're coming from. If yer from some small town / village / country it's gonna be a whole new word. If yer from somewhere already vast and cosmopolitan such as NY it's not gonna be all that different.
London is however, in my opinion, the hub of the UK design world. Most of the big agencies are here. You also work with people from all walks of live, every colour, every creed.
