    Leah, i don't know you, and you seem cool, so I'm not going to speculate as to whether you're happy with yourself or how you look. I just think focussing so much anger and rage and spite on one person you don't know is simplistic and rather silly, let alone a huge waste of time.

    I do agree that there are far too many 14 year olds, and far younger, who emulate the latest MTV stars, and I think that's problematic. But Paris Hilton is not the cause of this, nor was Brittany Spears, nor was Madonna. Our culture is obsessed with youth and fame and sex, and each new generation is exposed to sexuality at far too young of an age (my fat 5 year old niece walking around in a belly shirt is a perfect example). But the same could be said for the 50cent and Eminems running around our streets and malls-- kids who think they are expressing their individuality with a doo rag but really are a carbon copy of what they see on TV. It's tragic and a sign of the times, but the focus should be on the execs who perpetuate these images purely to make a profit, not the vacant models who are getting paid for it...
