last night, a haunting dream. I'm walking alone in the dark on a dirt road. Ahead, glowing in the fog, distant lights. As i approach I see that it is an exact reproduction of the stage at cbgb's, surrounded by a cornfield. A mist drifts past, and out of the cornfield, johnny, joey and deedee emerge and take their places on the stage. The drummer is in the shadows. I come closer to get a better look. Dad? Is that you? He turns and points towards the cornfield. It is slice.
