    The new version has the original as an unlockable bonus. From what I read the difference in difficulty is staggering.
    If you're looking for a bargain bin gem check out Beyond Good and Evil. In my neck of the woods it's only $20 because, while universally praised, nobody bought it. It's my next planned purchase. Freedom Fighters is pretty short, but it's a lot of fun while it lasts.
