That's a myth definitely but HH was hooked on morphine (heroin) and his mormon cronies that he had taking care of his day to day affairs from whatever hole he was hiding out in at the time used to provide his injections, etc.
He only hired Mormons because he felt that he could trust them more than other people.
He also used to have 3 pages of instructions on how to open a can of peaches.
All in all a very strange/interesting/eccentric man.
