obviously this is awful and nothing can excuse torturing a living creature but how comes noone ever posts "sick" threads on abused children who get killed? i hate it when people get all cute about animals but don't give a shit about human suffering (not saying anyone here is like that). I remember in aus whenever some world event had happened that they couldn't ignore on the shit news over there, they'd always put a nice "cat got rescued from tree" story to finish with a warm happy feeling. aargh.
