yeah, its 50 years for music.
the reason i came up with that is that i see people using the same fonts that were created 100 years ago now, and theyre still trendy, and comback to trend, like a circle, so that area of design is not moving too much and its way tooo underrated, probably because of that.
the fact that the fonts are expensive and hard to get, keeps them trendy.
then the talented people now, cant really compete against this.
in fact, the only font revolution we have seen lately are flash fonts and nothing else after that.
music keeps progressing, but this doesnt.
i still do not agree with stealing old fonts, the same way i totally disagree of stealing new fonts, in fact, ive had sets of fonts in front of me, and i dont even touch them, old and new. its too easy to get a client to buy a set of fonts for you, you dont need to spend money on them.
but we really need to start to see new fonts out there, and not fancy artsy busy ones, but sober fonts.
