I developed permanent chronic bronchial asthma because I didn't have insurance and waited too long.
You say you are based in NY, I went to a good pulmonologist in the Upper East Side (or West?), his name was Dr. Posner. he was the first doc who actually helped me on a long term basis. think his office was in the 80's or 90's
