forgot to mention that this layout works fine on the following browsers:
ie6 / windows xp
mozilla 1.7.2 / windows xp
safari 1.2.3(v125.9) / os x 10.3.5
firefox 0.9.3 / os x 10.3.5
camino 0.7.0 / os x 10.3.5
ie 5.2 / os x 10.3.5the you might be able to go for less than 10px extra for safari to layout properly but i don't really have the time right now to try that.
i guess i really should remember to read what i write before i hit broadcast, oh well i shall leave other people to construct sentences that actually read well.
