    I've seen Mars Volta live twice, both times as support act for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They are great live, lots of energie with long cool jams and they even did a 20 minute jam with the chili peppers at the end of the show which was awesome. The guitarist of the chili peppers, John Frusciante collaborate with Omar Rodriguez-Lopez at some of the songs.

    I have only listen to this album once yet but i like it. I also recommend you to listen to John's solo works, powerful.
