i think it could be even more simple. i think i'd prefer it without the gray borders.
some of the photos are amazing. i like the nav system too.
the thumbnail mouseover is a great idea, but a little bit buggy. did preloading them make loading time unacceptable or something? the info button loading up my email client was really annoying.
out of interest, how are the photos pulled in? a database or xml or what?
again, really good photos. congratulations on it.
