yeah not if they keep making it heavier and more expensive to buy. i see why they have to do it though. the market is getting more and more luxurious, vw's were always first to bring certain luxury features into its class. one of the first compact cars to offer heated seats and heated windows.
it now adds independent rear suspension and a sensor that recognizes winds hitting the side of the car and it keeps the car from shifting to a side making for a more linear luxurious ride.
