damn. they're cracking down. last week a buddy was planning a small poker party. 8 people. nothing big. maybe 200-400 bucks each... TOPS... and that's a stretch. he happened to tell one of his buddies about it on a blog. i was supposed to go but ended up getting sick so another guy went instead.
the place got raided and all their money was confiscated. no lie. he has a court date later next month. it was the fbi whatever gaming comission blah blah bullshit.
wtf?!? don't they have better things to do in chicago then raid a couple guys playin cards?!? no loud music, no noise... they just found out from the blog.
