what's the interest like in Europe?
personaly I think they should merge the world championships with the world cup and have it every 4 years like in football.
or scrap it all together and concentrate on the Olympics.
the tournament is a bit of a farce since there are only 8 teams playing and all eight make it into the knockout round.
I say make it a 12-16 team tournament, invite the minnow countries in as well and give them a chance to play against the big boys, who knows they may pull off an upset and it would raise the profile of the game in their country.
