the fact is that 90% of people are unoriginal as designers and a higher % of people are unoriginal in what they wear, this is a commercial venture aimed at generating high sales. If the design was truly original then it is unlikely that many people would buy it.
the threadless people have chosen based on saleability and while this is obviously the best method concerning their profits its just a shame that as a supposedly 'designer led' outfit that they didn't choose more progressively, but then, most submissions were shit anyhow so..
