    I have the d2 250 triple... I think these are as reliable as any internal drive, seems very fast.

    But... i use three d2's as backup... Retrospect backups from my Powerbook, and a d2 160 for an archive of images...but again it is backed up to the d2 250 every day using Retrospect. This is for business, and we are assuming that any single drive (external or internal) can fail ANY TIME...it's the only safe way to work...the drives arent so expensive for peace of mind?
