I forget who, but some company makes office "cubes" that are actually make up of small plastic cubes. There are a ton of different ones so the people who have to be in the cube can mix and match to their liking. Some had cutouts for papers or plants, others had cutouts of stars and shapes and such. It was pretty cool.
Bright colors are cool on a few walls. Mustard, Orange, Lime. Helps the mood.
Light is key. Knowone wants to feel like they are cramped in a small dark box.
