i am not ashamed to admit it's because of computers. esp. Macs. My haddrawing skills are ok when i try really hard but i have some mild form of motorical malfunction (is this good engrish?) which i can't help. Computers really helped me translate my well-developed visual sense into something visible.
I grew up in the photography and film-biz of my father and in the early 90's he bought his first mac and i was the one to figure it all out for him. I made my very first piece in PS 2.0.3 or something, from that moment on i got hooked on creating graphics with the aid of a computer. I have been a photographer for a long time but then i got fed up of living the not-so-very-creative life as a press-photographer and gradually moved into graphic and new media design.
