man if that things comin out, it'll b crazy...
i was in the same position as u r muid.. i went wid a 14 inch iBook.. im using the same apps as uve mentioned.. and they run perfectly fine on my ibook... and ivnt even upgraded my ram yet.. its still on 256MB ram.. im planning to get a stick of 512.. that'll boost my iBook even more... if ur low on cash.. i wud say go wid 14 inch iBook rather than goin wid 14 inch Powerbook coz of the screen size.. 12 inch is way smaller than it looks on the apple website.. visit ur closest apple store and ask them to show u a 12 inch powerbook.. its very small... graphic/web designers need bigger screens...
