1.3 GHz is like a 2.6 Ghz is certain applications and functions that take advantage of the G4's altivec (velocity engine) vector processing unit. Other wise it is just like a 1.3 Ghz latest pentium. Photoshop takes much advantage of the altivec processor, as do many of the OS's graphics calls. You will want at least 1GB of RAM working with Photoshop.
