if you're changing any electrical stuff, make sure you know if its aluminum or copper, replacement aluminum plugs are about 3 times more expensive than copper ones (or more :( ) my last house had shotty aluminum wiring and turning on the hall way light would make my computer screen shake from interference, not saying aluminum was the problem, but shotty wiring sucks for electronics!
