and then there's Germany, where they give you a 'cold' rent quote, and a 'warm' (heated) price...
and when you move in, there's just wires hanging out of the ceiling, no light fittings... and the kitchen... well sometimes there are just pipes sticking out of the wall (people take the kitchen with them from one rented flat to the next). Oh and you pay the agent two months rent just for finding the flat for you.
