    two cents:

    first, unless you can be 100% certain that the identity will never appear in one color, on a fax, or in some tigt budget print job, build a logo so that it can translate into all those things. That means starting with one color: black.

    second, you need a concept. The sketches you’ve shown so far in your couple of rounds and some of the ones that have been piped in, they are all just trying to find a gimmick with the letterforms.

    I suggest a pencil, piece of paper, and some ideas. The logo should communicate something, not just settle for a clean type presentation with a gimmick. That will, eventually, not last, and will appear old. You want timeless, not something that you look at and think “yeah, that was 2002...”
