so this was just a DNS problem? that would mean you didnt have a problem getting an internet connection at all. DNS settings only affect whether you can use domain names instead of IP numbers...
Sure you had setup problems...but if we all started un-recommending against buyiing prducts anytime we had a setup problem, I would have had to warn you all about all of Apple, Adobe and Microsofts products (to name a few) by now...
