  Try the following, start from the top, if it doesn't work, move on to the next.
  - Restart
  - Create a new user id (sometimes stupid settings are reset)
  - Start from CD
  - Slam the monitor
  - Scandisk
  - Back up porn
  - Turn it off.
  - Format C:
