this is just one idea of many:
i don't get suicidal or depressed ever, but I do get anxiety attacks, and I find that sometimes exercise can really really help it....i mean intense exercise, to the point where you exhaust yourself to the point of being unable to think very much, and just wanting to relax and tune out a bit.....i know it sounds trite, but truly, give more activity and exercise a try when you feel down and see if it helps....i do know that depression and anxiety sometimes get treated in similar ways so who knows ....
