rasko, obviously i touched a nerve with you, which makes today all the more successful.

just to be clear, while this is a design message board, there are a ridiculous amount of senseless threads where people vent, act stupid or sarcastic, and mock people and the system. i for one enjoy much for this, but also from time to time don't particularly care for it... however, never will you seem me try to dictate what is acceptable banter, and never will i judge someone personally based on a silly remark or thread.

this is also a very male dominated medium, unfortunately, and there are a ton of people here who base their opinions of female designers--not on their talent, but on their physical appearance. my FAKE personal ad yesterday, intended solely to be silly and to satirize this testerone filled board, suddenly made me a pretentious and superficial ass, which may or may not be true,...

as far as being capable of subjective thought rather than pure rhetoric, um, okay, if you say so...

with that said, your socioloigcal analysis of me is quite convoluted and silly. if i want to momentarily mock hippies, i do have that right, without having to justify how idiotic, confused, and hypocritical the counter-cultural movement of the past 40 years has been to the US. all you need to do is visit people's park in berkeley or see timothy leary in his later days to see what happens when a generation decides to "turn on and tune out"...

either way i don't think my "bad joke" deserves your hostility, nor the suggestion that my comments were representative of "the human condition", nor of some deeper inner conflict ....which was actually quite funny

    alright, enough dude
    get outside once and awhile
    and enjoy life

in warm thoughts and cheep fuzzies
