    Glen...I was hasty....I wasn't trying to get personal. I said what I did based on a judgement that I had read. My bad.

    Mimio has made an interesting point about Christian's being seen as compartmentalizing themselves. I agree. I come from a non-denomnational line of thought that tells that as well. As a christian, I have convictions on music. There's stuff I'm not comfortable with...and that's fine. BUT, unlike those christians who would rather freak out and shun mainstream radio/tv/literature/press in order to keep themselves on the right path, I feel that putting myself in a box weakens me.

    I can't grow in that sense if I ONLY listen to the christian stations locally (which suck, btw), thusly, I've had to seek out the style of music that I like, that I can get into and get the same message from. In my exploration of that 'genre', I've found that even though there are those praise bands, like Disciple, there are also those bands that sing about the struggle's of life and living and love.
