ahhh, i knew someone would jump on that one... :)
there are holes to be found in everything, no? life just isn't black and white. that song, particularly buckley's way of doing it, is beauty to me. it has no connection to cohen or anything un-beautiful i could tie to him. isn't that the beauty of art? you see a painting and say "beautiful", even tho the artist was insane as hell two centuries ago...
