i'm exactly bashing christian rock for the label.
it's so stupid labelling a music genre after a fucking relgion. A religion that had nothing specific to do with the development of that music in the first place. It tries to say so many things. Why would i want to give it a chance? What cos the music is SOOOO amazing that it'll change everything? Umm, somehow i don't think so.
And froww... good for you. I have no interst in your faith whatsoever, and honestly do not want to hear about it preached to me or sung to me, or anything. I find it extremely patronising. I'll react the same way if all 50cent did was try and sell me Reebok shoes (yes i am equating corporations to this branded way "christianity" is being marketed).
I guess there's lots of Benjamins to be made. Massive market, especially puritanical america. People who still feel guilty about listening to normal punk, or hip-hop etc.. cos its "the devils music", are comforted when something announces itself defiantly Christian
Culture is so frivolous.
