La Haine is one of the most powerful pieces of cinematography ever made.
I'm always remembering the scene where this 'mec' turns on his soundsystem, starts scratchin' NTM + Edith Piaf together, while opening the window over this miserable neighbourhood in the outskirts of Paris, while the camera travels 'au cours des batiments'.
