forget pasadena.. its nice.. but a place for familes.. its like beaver cleaver land gets boring fast... santa monica is okay to visit but to live is to expenisve and the westside gets boring fast as well . hollywood area is alright , there are places near franklin that are decent. i live near downtown l.a. cause its cheap, there are alot of loft studios in downtown, but they are getting pricey cause all the artsy fartsy people from venice and s.m. are invading us down here, if i had to recommend a place i would say the silverlake, los feliz area.. it s really nice area, with cool bars and laid back scene not too hollywood, but then again all of l.a. is hollywood..(thats an exaggeration for all you smart asses) culver city is okay too its in the middle of everywhere. and orange county give me a break.. i dont even wantt o begin how crap that place is.
