I've been ripping stuff from tapes, vinyl, videos... you name it. All comes on really nice.
It's one of those pieces of software that I've no idea how I got by with without. It records sound from any program into MP3 & AIFF format, and only from that program. So you can be recording something from Quicktime, whilst listening to iTunes, and the end sound file will only be the sound from quicktime.
More importantly It comes with a LineIn program which lets you record straight from any sound coming in through the microphone plug.
